sometimes enjoyed,

sometimes vexed

stretching for years now looking back is hard

an abyss ahead an abyss behind!

the foot still sensed

but almost lost

grabbing enough to not fall

Image might be blurry for the head left behind

but the hands kept stretching

two snakes robbed blind.

every once in a while

fate jumps over the aisle

one hand touches another

mistakenly clasp together

but mistakes are corrected

and bigger ones are made

repulsed from one another

they grow away

closed fists, move ahead.

but tighter it gets

reminiscing what has never been

sinking nails past the skin

could the pain set it free

could it end the dream
